At Saber Mfg, we pride ourselves on rigorous quality control and customer satisfaction. If you need to return a product, we accept returns within 30 days of the original purchase date, subject to the conditions outlined below.

1. Return Authorization Required

You must call or email us prior to shipping to receive a Return Authorization. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

2. Return Categories & Restocking Fees

To qualify for a return, your item must fall into one of the following categories:

  • Unused Condition (10% Restocking Fee): The item has never been used or installed. (Note: Custom extensions are not eligible for return).
  • Fitted Condition (20% Restocking Fee): The item was taken out of the box and placed on the engine, but the engine was never cranked over. (Note: Bolts, lugs, crush plates, and custom extensions are not eligible for return once fitted).
  • Non-Returnable Items: Any items that have been run (engine cranked over), scratched, dinged, or damaged will not be accepted for return.

3. Shipping Your Return

Once you have received your Return Authorization, please prepare your package carefully:

  • Documentation: You must include a note inside the package with your full name, phone number, and the reason for the return.
  • Packaging: Pack the item securely so it does not get damaged in transit.
  • Shipping Method: You are responsible for return shipping costs. We highly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance (especially for international shipments). Saber Mfg is not responsible for packages that arrive damaged or are lost in transit.
  • Please ship authorized returns to:

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

Last Updated: July 31, 2026

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing from Saber Mfg. By placing an order, building, assembling, owning, or operating any product manufactured or sold by Saber Mfg, you knowingly and voluntarily acknowledge, accept, and agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Assumption of Risk and Inherent Danger

Aviation, specifically the building, maintenance, and operation of experimental and amateur-built aircraft, is an inherently dangerous activity that can result in property damage, serious bodily injury, permanent disability, or death. By purchasing from Saber Mfg, you explicitly acknowledge that these risks cannot be eliminated, regardless of the quality of the manufactured part or the skill of the pilot. You knowingly and voluntarily accept and assume sole responsibility for all risks and dangers associated with the use of our products.

2. Experimental Use Designation and Regulatory Compliance

Saber Mfg manufactures precision prop extensions, crush plates, lugs, and other components expressly intended for use in the experimental, amateur-built, and light sport aircraft categories.

  • No FAA Certification: Our products are not type-certificated, are not manufactured under an FAA production certificate, and are not certified by the FAA or any other governing aviation authority.
  • Builder Responsibility: You, the purchaser, are the final authority on the suitability of these products for your specific aircraft application. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any aircraft you build, modify, or operate complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and weight limits.

3. Product Application and Installation

The purchaser accepts sole liability and responsibility for the proper installation, maintenance, and operation of any part supplied by Saber Mfg.

  • We make no warranty regarding the performance, structural integrity, or safety of your completed aircraft or its component parts.
  • Any unapproved modification or substitution of a component supplied by Saber Mfg may make your aircraft unsafe and significantly increase the risk of flight.
  • It is the purchaser’s duty to carefully inspect all parts prior to installation and to double-check the quality of all materials used in construction.

4. Custom Manufacturing and Lead Times

Due to the precise nature of CNC machining and order demand, Saber Mfg products may be subject to production waitlists and lead times. Estimated timelines provided at the time of purchase are estimates only and do not constitute guarantees. Saber Mfg is not liable for production or delivery delays.

5. Refunds and Returns

All cancellations, returns, refunds, and restocking fees are strictly governed by our official Refund and Returns Policy. Custom-built, made-to-order, and specially serialized machined items are subject to the specific terms outlined in that policy.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

EXCEPT FOR ANY EXPRESS WRITTEN WARRANTY PROVIDED BY SABER MFG, ALL PRODUCTS AND MACHINED COMPONENTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “WITH ALL FAULTS”. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SABER MFG EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY COMPLETED AIRCRAFT UTILIZING OUR PARTS WILL BE AIRWORTHY OR FIT FOR FLIGHT.

7. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Saber Mfg, its owner, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for any personal injury, death, property damage, loss of use, or lost profits arising from the use of our products.

By purchasing from Saber Mfg, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Saber Mfg from any and all claims, demands, suits, causes of action, or losses arising out of the construction, maintenance, or operation of your aircraft, including claims made by passengers, bystanders, or subsequent buyers of your aircraft.
